Hi freaks,
I want to edit the main Menu of WE 20002, I mean the japan letters for "Friendly match" for example, but I don't know which file I have to edit "dat2d.bin" maybe ?
Offsets are very welcome

u may use WECompressor edit the 51,52,53,54 in datsel.bin,pal 77

ps:there is no japanese word like "friendly macth",it's"match mode"in english,and it is 6 japanese character.

to edit menù you can't use compressor cause it's an hex work not a grapich one

Yes I know,but he want to find out like"friendly match"japanese word,i just want to told him where the sam japanese words are.

By the way,does anybody can edit the stadium's name in the select menu?I try to find the way three days,but I can not find it,I use WinHex to search them,but failed,if someone knows,please tell me,thank you very much.

I try and i try to translate the stadium's name and failed, but i learn some things. Some of the japonese letters are loaded from images DATSEL 52,53,54 etc (indexed by wecompressor by walxer).
And some words like hard, easy and normal (in japonese) dificulty levels have a code to write them like a codificated word like a -> 8281 but these codes begins in 80 or more. (In these PC i don't have my we stuff). I presume that another codificated text code exists or is a mix off regular japanese letters codes, and some codes that join two or more japonese letters in one codificated code. And these makes impossible the relative search.

you can't translate stadium's names cause they are not images with all the name written but the association of normal kanji alphabet letter ... so every kanji letter must be translated but there are many problem cause a ` may change this translation, LE and RE (like RA and LA etc) are on the same kanji letter, so it's not possible
