Hi guys just thought i'll let you know this can be done now. a guy called fishcake did it and I HAVE tried it and it DOES work. Here is what he wrote on another forum...

'i've made a patch for the dvd version which i'm upping to lomuntung's ftp now, it's in ppf format and unrars to 99mb
it's currently a beta version but all kits are correct and i've corrected the player names, i'd appreciate it if a few people can test it out and report any bugs/crashes

at the moment alot of the teams are in a mess as i've started transfering players and creating players not in the game and i need a bit of help getting the starting lineups for most of the non-english teams

to apply the patch make an iso of the original dvd with either primo dvd, record now max or alcohol 120%, apply the ppf and burn back to dvd-r'


It has a few minor bugs but its cool, as long as you use your own option file.
